Tens boards: international version – Nienhuis Montessori

The Nienhuis Montessori tens boards: international version from the mathematics material range allow the child to explore the number names of the tens and the sequence of numbers 11 to 99.

The tens boards are used together with the 10 bars from the tens bead box to create bead quantities which are associated with the corresponding numeral on the tens board.

The set includes a wooden box with lid, two tens boards and nine wooden cards with the numerals 1 to 9 printed on. One board has five printed number slots (10–50) and the other board has four printed number slots (60–90).
