Concave finds convex is a beautiful handmade sustainable wooden matching puzzle game with building blocks from Grimm’s. This set features 24 unusually shaped wooden blocks in pretty pastel and rainbow shades interlocking in a mosaic style puzzle and are presented in a wooden frame. Each block measures 6-12cm and the tray is 26.5 x 20.5cm.

The Grimm’s concave finds concave set is made from lime wood and painted with non-toxic water based colour stain, making it safe for use by small children.

In this fun and challenging wooden puzzle, children match each pair of concave and convex shapes. Or place the pieces in a bag for another tactile challenge to find the pairs by the sense of touch. The interesting and vibrant shapes are also a great addition to open-ended free play, from stacking and building wavy walls or paths to creativing imaginative figures.

The Grimm’s concave finds concave set is perfect for developing hand-eye co-ordination, fine motor skills, problem-solving, spatial awareness and concentration in young children in an engaging way. Each pair is made up of two different tones of the same colour, so children can also study colours more closely, matching light and dark blue or bright and pale orange.
