The Grimm’s Waldorf-style five math friends are individually hand-painted. They are made from three different types of wood from sustainable forestry, depending on availability – maple wood, beech wood, cherry wood or alder wood. They are painted in lovely pastel tones with non-toxic water based colour stain and measure 6.5cm in height and 3cm in diameter. They come complete with a handy wooden storage tray which has a non-toxic, plant-based oil finish and measures 10cm in length.
