The Bauspiel stepped counting and building blocks set is a wonderful handmade sustainable wooden building blocks set in 10 different rainbow colours! This set of beautiful blocks offers an exciting introduction to the world of numbers, fractions, size and the foundations of math as well as inviting endless building fun!
Bauspiel’s stepped counting and building blocks set consists of 100 blocks in 10 different sizes and vibrant colours in a wooden frame. Two small pink blocks are as tall as one red block, and two yellow blocks are as tall as one purple block. Compare them, match them and put them in order for visual learning and developing fine motor and spatial thinking skills through play. Many stacking, matching and building games can be played and beautiful towers and sculptures created.
A hugely appealing and versatile set for learning through play for younger and older children alike. Inspired by both Montessori and Waldorf education, these counting and building blocks are a beautiful addition to the playroom or classroom!
The wooden blocks pair perfectly with any of the Bauspiel building sets and have rounded edges. Painted with non-toxic dye, the blocks have a matte finish, which enhances tactile play and adds some friction for the elements to not slip when stacking.
They are made of alder wood and are presented in a wooden tray. The entire set is made by hand in Germany.
The wooden stepped counting and building blocks set is suited for children ages 3 and up.
Contents:
100 wooden building rods (2.5 x 2.5-25cm)
