The principle of the arch can be experienced by building with the wooden blocks. The key to the secret of the arch is the middle of the nine blocks: the keystone. Working with the arch allows the child to discover the scientific principle of the keystone and its function in the support of an arch. When the keystone is removed the arch will collapse.

This Montessori material is suitable for children aged 3-12 years.
