Bolts and pegs – Nienhuis Montessori 2023 Collection

The Nienhuis Montessori bolts and pegs is a new 2023 release for the infant and toddler material range. It has been specially designed to be used by toddlers.

With this material the young child perfects his hand/eye coordination while building hand muscles. It also develops dexterity and allows for practicing the fine motor pincer grasp when manipulating the bolts, which is essential for a proper pencil grasp.

The bolts and pegs set is made from solid wood and has rounded edges for safe used even by the littlest hands. The bolts are in the primary colours red, blue and yellow – the base with pegs measures 24 x 16 x 5.5cm.

This Montessori material is suitable for toddlers aged 2 years and up.
