Founded in 1922, the renowned German brand Stockmar produces high quality, durable and child-friendly creative materials that are used in Rudolf Steiner schools / Waldorf schools all over the world!

Originally made at the request of Waldorf teachers, Stockmar’s modelling and decorating beeswax, crayons and water colour paints are designed to appeal to all the child’s senses with their beautiful colours, textures, warmth, ergonomic shapes and natural beeswax scent. A staple at Steiner schools, the unique Stockmar wax crayons come in traditional crayon form as well as block form and allow for delicate drawings and intensely vibrant pictures. The wax crayons are also suitable for glazing and scratching techniques thanks to their transparency and intense depth of naturally luminous colours.

Made in Germany using pure beeswax, Stockmar’s unique art materials are non-toxic and produced to the highest pedagogical, artistic, social and environmental standards.
