Ailefo’s large box Spring basic colours set contains 5 tubs of organic modelling clay in lovely natural shades – green, blue, yellow, red and brown.

Ailefo organic modelling clay brings parents a safe, non-toxic, allergy-friendly and natural option for this beloved form of childhood play. This material has endless potential for arts and crafts, creativity and self-expression, therapeutic play and fun learning!

Ailefo’s colours are created using natural dyes including blue-green algae, Blakeslea Trispora fungus, red fruits and burnt sugar. Specially selected organic plant oils are used to give an extra soft texture, making Ailefo easily malleable by even the smallest children and protecting hands against dryness during play.

Founded by Danish mother and nurse Christiane Larsen, the aim of Ailefo was to create a modelling clay which was free from harmful ingredients that might be absorbed while playing, safe for the high number of children with allergies and would not harm the environment in its production. 

Produced in a small factory on the beautiful island of Bornholm, Denmark to the highest standards of sustainability, allergy friendliness and Scandinavian design, Ailefo contains 98% certified organic ingredients and more than 90% local produced ingredients. Free from perfume, parabens and perfume allergens, Ailefo is plant based and food grade and does not contain nuts, traces of nuts, soy, eggs or dairy products. Please note it is not gluten-free.

Ailefo’s packaging is environmentally friendly, including 100% recycled paper tubes and food-grade PP plastic tubs which can be easily reused and recycled. All wood used in Ailefo’s modelling clay tools and stamps is FSC certified to guarantee sustainable production.

*White dots may appear on the modelling clay. This is not mould but salt which surfaces during storage, and it will disappear when the clay is kneaded and played with.

Ailefo organic modelling clay is suitable for ages 2 years and up.
