Bauspiel

Bauspiel is a German, small family-run and eco-conscious toys brand, specialised in educational and open-ended handmade wooden and felt toys. Founded in 2013, their toys distinguish themselves through high quality and excellent workmanship and invite to free and unlimited play, which focuses on learning and grasping geometric figures, colours and learning numbers. Various educational concepts are incorporated into product development to create educationally valuable toys.

All Bauspiel toys are made by hand from eco-friendly materials such as FSC-certified oiled natural woods and fairly produced wool felt from Nepal. During development and design processes the highest safety standards, namely the European toy standard EN71, is applied.

Protecting and respecting the environment runs holistically through the entire company and Bauspiel vision, from suppliers to employees and customers. Attention is paid to fair and sustainable production conditions and selection of raw materials through personal exchange and continuous communication with business partners. Recycled packaging materials as well as environmentally friendly paints, adhesives and natural oils are used. To further ensure sustainability, Bauspiel offers a comprehensive spare parts and a repair service for their toys.
