Die Stadtgärtner is a German brand dedicated to creating sustainable gardens and increasing the quality of life and welfare for people, bees, insects and other animals in urban areas. The brightly coloured Die Stadtgärtner seedbombs allow for gardening with children anywhere, and making cities and villages more colourful and liveable. Their range of animal feed welfare products even give animals, bees and other insects the habitat they deserve!

The founders of the brand: Derk, Torge and Jan all grew up in rural regions of northern Germany. After moving to the big city, the three men quickly realised how much real nature was missing in urban areas. In 2011 they founded Die Stadtgärtner, a project from the heart. To this day, 11 million seedbombs have been sold so far – enough to populate 550 football pitches with flowers!

Die Stadtgärtner attaches great importance to social responsibility and sustainability in the manufacture of their products. Their seedbombs are handmade by the employees of Lebenshilfe in Nordhorn (Grafschaft Bentheim) from purely organic raw materials. They are certified in accordance with the EC Organic Regulation, and all the seeds also bear the organic seal. Products from other Die Stadtgärtner ranges, such as bees and animal welfare, carry certificates from PETA or Oeko-Text.
